Why run for Diabetes UK?
"I decided to take part in The Brighton Marathon because I wanted to do something for my mum. She has had Type 1 diabetes since she was just 5 but has always taken it in her stride and taken care of everybody else. I thought it would be nice for someone to do something for her for a change. I feel super proud of myself and in a way sad it's all over, it was an amazing experience which I will treasure forever. I have been so overwhelmed by everyone's support throughout my training and fundraising and I think it really helps doing it for a charity so close to your heart."
Imogen took part in the Brighton Marathon to support her mum who has Type 1 diabetes. You can read more about their story here.
