This prestigious award is presented to the author of the winning poster abstract that, in the judges' opinion, has contributed significantly to the management and care of people with diabetes. The award winner will receive a prize of £500. The award aims to encourage and recognise the contribution of Nurses and Allied Healthcare Professionals in the field of diabetes research. This award was introduced in 2015 to recognise the multidisciplinary nature of diabetes research. Research from all aspects of care are welcome, however precedence will be given to research which has a direct impact on the care of people living with diabetes.
Eligibility:
Invited to enter are UK-based Nurses and Allied Healthcare Professionals working within the area of diabetes care whose research has been conducted within the last two years. Abstracts must be submitted to one of the clinical care categories (Management, Complications or Healthcare delivery and improvement).
