Louise Haworth's step-son was diagnosed with Type 1 twenty years ago, she took on the London Marathon to raise money & help one day find a cure.
"My step-son, Peter, was diagnosed with Type 1 over 20 years ago. He is very stoical and just gets on with life but it would be wonderful to find a cure in his lifetime (he's mid 40s). I have raised money for other charities and thought it was about time to help Diabetes UK.
