If you knew....that support is available to you, whether you just want to get something off your chest, share your experience with other people living with diabetes, or ask for advice and support.
Peer support
Knowing where to turn to for support and building a community of support around you, can not only help if you’re feeling overwhelmed, or alone in what you’re experiencing, but can help you live more confidently with your diabetes.
Being able to share how something has made you feel, talking to people who ’get it’ and realising you’re not alone with what you’re facing, can make a big difference.
Our support forum can connect you to other people with diabetes, their families and carers, where you can swap knowledge, experiences or just reach out for that ‘oh yes, I’ve been there’ reply from the community that you really needed to hear today.
If you, or your child, live with type 1 diabetes and are aged 11 – 25, join our Together Type 1 programme to meet other young people living with type 1 who know what you’re going through and are building an exciting programme of events and community of support.
