Organ transplantation saves lives. But life after surgery is not always easy. Researchers at Newcastle University would like to interview transplant recipients to find out more about quality of life after surgery. We are nearing the end of recruitment for this study and want to make sure that the lived experiences of people who have received a pancreas transplant are represented in our sample.
Therefore, if you live in England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland, are aged 18 years or above and have had a pancreas or simultaneous pancreas-kidney transplant 12 months ago or more, we would like to speak to you.
We are asking anyone who is interested in being part of the study to tell us a few details about themselves to help us ensure we talk to a varied group of people with different experiences. To do this, we have an expression of interest form, which can be completed on mobile, tablet, or computer, via the following link: https://forms.office.com/e/W8Z54RnkZ5
You do not have to complete all the information in the form if you do not want to (it is entirely voluntary). All information you provide will only be seen by members of the study team and used to select participants to invite to interviews.
