Researchers at the University of Brighton would like to hold a focus group with people aged 16-24 who have been living with type 1 diabetes during their years at secondary school/high school and who find diabetes difficult or frustrating. The study aims to find ways to help support young adults with diabetes.
The focus group discussion would be an online live meeting with Sam, a facilitator and up to 10 young people with type 1 diabetes. The discussion will focus on ways to improve support for people with diabetes during their secondary school years. It doesn’t matter if you have now left school/college – your experiences and ideas are still important. You would also be invited to complete two short questionnaires before and after the meeting.
You will receive a £20 Amazon voucher as a thank you for your time.
