Barriers and Facilitators to Initiation of Insulin Therapy in People with T2D from Ethnic Minority Populations

Researchers at the University of Leicester are looking to recruit people aged 18-85, from ethnic minority backgrounds and living with type 2 diabetes, for a study on barriers to insulin treatment.

You may help researchers understand the barriers and facilitators to insulin therapy by sharing your experiences with being offered insulin and using insulin therapy. You don't necessarily have to be currently using insulin to take part in this study.

Taking part involves either a one-on-one interview for about 30-60 minutes or joining a focus group discussion for up to 90 minutes. These can take place face-to-face, online, or via telephone. For more information, please contact Priscilla at pk284@le.ac.uk.
