Wellness Month 2024
Wellbeing is about feeling good and healthy. This can include many aspects, such as physical, psychological, emotional, social, and economic wellbeing.
Wellness is how you actively try to achieve better wellbeing. This can be through the activities and choices you make. Taking steps to focus on your wellbeing can have a positive effect on managing your diabetes through relaxation and improving the quality of your sleep.
What is Wellness Month?
Take on Wellness Month this November and challenge yourself to complete a wellness activity every day for 30 days, while raising vital funds for people living with diabetes.
Everyone’s wellness journey is different. You might want to work on your social, physical or mental wellbeing. You could get crafty, go for a walk, garden, meet up with friends, or read that book that’s been on your list forever.
It could take as little as 15 minutes a day. But your fundraising will make a lifetime of difference to people living with diabetes, supporting ground-breaking research, care and advice.
How do I sign up and how does it work?
Wellness Month is free to participate in, but we are encouraging everyone to raise funds. You can sign up by following these four simple steps.
- Register for the challenge on this link. Whether you're participating individually or as part of a team, register today to take the first step toward improving your wellness.
- Set your fundraising goal. There’s no minimum fundraising requirement—you set your own target. As your donations grow and you complete activities, you'll unlock digital badges and fantastic rewards to celebrate your success.
- Plan your month of activities. Prepare by selecting your daily challenges from our activity list and adding them to your calendar. Doing this before the challenge begins will help you stay on track!
- Start your challenge and share your progress. Start logging your wellness activities on November 1st. Don’t forget to join our Wellness Community on Facebook and share a post on your social media on day one to announce your participation!

You also must be over the age of 18 to take part.

- If you have any underlying health conditions that may affect your ability to participate in Wellness Month, we suggest you seek appropriate medical advice from your GP or Health Care Professional, before taking part.
- You should not put yourself at unnecessary risk completing any activity.
- Use appropriate clothing, footwear, and equipment to complete any activity.
