Inpatient diabetes:The art and craft of implementing good diabetes acute care

Many new initiatives have emerged in recent years in the field of acute inpatient diabetes care.  This symposium will open up with an address from Diabetes UK colleagues on the future direction of how our charity could support inpatient diabetes care, followed by an update on diabetes acute care technologies, latest initiatives on the power of 'big data' and standardised care, and thought-provoking exploration on care implementation methodologies. The session will end with an interactive discussion and debate between conference delegates and experts (HCPs and expert with lived experience), joined by special guests representing various stakeholder organisations in diabetes acute care provision, to provide a comprehensive diverse representation across all those involved in inpatient diabetes care delivery.
