Since lockdown began, Diabetes Scotland has been hosting online discussion events with diabetes experts and healthcare professionals.
This autumn, we will be continuing our series of online events on Zoom and invite you to join us.
Events are free to attend but you have to register in advance to confirm your place and receive meeting log in details. We also welcome questions in advance to email scotland@diabetes.org.uk

An Introduction to Diabetes UK Learning Zone

Learning Zone is our online learning platform - it’s free, easy to use and offers personalised clinical advice from healthcare professionals, and tips from other people living with diabetes. It can be used at any time in a person's diabetes journey, wherever they are, at any time. Join us with Karen Davies, Diabetes UK's Senior Clinical Advisor for Education, for an introduction to the site and how it can help you manage your diabetes.

In this session Mike Gavin, Consultant Ophthalmologist, will talk about the importance of good eyecare for people with diabetes and Mike Black, Scottish Diabetes Retinopathy Screening Collaborative Coordinator, will discuss changes to the scheduling of retinopathy screening.
Living with Diabetes Q&A for Urdu and Punjabi speakers

Dr Kashif Ali and Dr Nazim Ghouri will lead this discussion about living with diabetes, answering any questions that participants may have. The session will be in English, Urdu and Punjabi.
