Dr Timothy Tree is Type 1 himself and is a Chelsea fan so we had a lot to talk about, particularly his recent conversion to using a pump and advice that I should look into doing likewise. It was exciting to be where discoveries about the condition are continuing to be made and money raised by Diabetes UK was funding research that you could see.
