JCP Swansea Half Marathon: coronavirus update
The JCP Swansea Half Marathon is now scheduled to take place on Sunday 17th October 2021.
We are so grateful to you all for your ongoing support, and your interest in joining the team. We will be with you every step of this Swansea Marathon and we promise to keep you updated. We also have information and advice for people living with diabetes relating to the coronavirus outbreak, which you may find useful.
About
The JCP Swansea Half Marathon offers runners the chance for a perfect PB on the flat, fast, scenic 13.1 mile route.
We’re also calling for runners with type 1 diabetes to join our team and help us break a world record. In 2018, we brought 69 type 1 runners to the starting line. This year, we want to make it even more.
If you run for us, we will support you every step of the way and provide you with:
- Full fundraising and training support.
- Personalised Diabetes UK running top.
- Free 'Crazy hair' and 'bang bang sticks'.
- Loud cheers on race day.
- On-the-day runner's guide.
- Active Facebook group.
