A group of diabetes nurses from around the UK have set up a forum on diabetes and renal disease. The aim of the forum is to work together to share ideas and improve practice.
In ablogabout the imprortance of working collaboratively, forum member and diabetes specialist nurse Siobhan Pender writes about her experiences of diabetes and renal disease. She suggests that all diabetes nurses should have a competent knowledge of renal disease and its management, and has discovered the benefits of linking up with her hospital diabetes renal nurse.
