Support Diabetes UK

From being a trustee to helping with office administration, to giving us feedback on our projects, volunteers support and influence all areas of our work.

Office Volunteers

We often need office volunteers at our central office, based in Camden Town, London, or at any of our regional offices. There are lots of areas within the organisation that could benefit from your time and experience. Volunteers are currently involved in organising events, providing admin support, researching and gathering information, and supporting our Careline team.

Internships

An internship at Diabetes UK is a fantastic opportunity to develop skills and gain experience at the largest organisation in the UK working for people with diabetes. Our internship scheme runs at set times of the year and we hope to run it later in 2010 and there will be more information about the scheme and the specific roles here.

Involvement Network

The Diabetes UK Involvement Network is one of the ways of involving people living with diabetes in our decisions. Involvement Network members get involved in the work of Diabetes UK’s teams to make sure our work includes the experience of people living with diabetes.

UK Advisory Council and Board of Trustees

Are you interested in how decisions are made about the policies and resources of Diabetes UK? If so, why not think about becoming a member of the UK Advisory Council or Board of Trustees? The How We are Governed section contains more information on the role and composition of the UK Advisory Council and the Board of Trustees.
